Lost in the 40's- men's fashion

Lost in love and the 40's- Landon and Alyssa
Men's fashion in the 1940's is recognized as the last celebrated decade of elegance and style.  While the 1940's fashion began as one of practicality it burst with extravagance as the war drew to a close overseas.
I love getting lost in the past!
The end of the war and rationing brought about the development of the style known as the "swing era."  Shirts and coats for men's fashion came in various ranges of colors.  Most men could be found in a tie whether it be silk or hand painted- they were exotic and reflected the owner's individualism.

The easiest pick for 1940's fashion for men is a double breasted suit(stripes are perfect) and a fedora hat- don't forget the two toned shoes!
