I am being brave here... so cheer me on please! On the treadmill, I saw Dove's latest mission is to #speakbeautiful on social media... so here I go...
I am beautiful... not because of my hair, my clothes, or make up. But I am beautiful because of my faith, my joy, my heart-- everything else is an accessory.
Thanks to my mom for my brown eyes and my smile. Thanks to my dad for teaching me never to quit. Thanks to my husband for seeing the rose among the thorns, and thanks to our five children for teaching me what love is all about.
Karynn and I started KEPT so we could share our love of all things creative and in the process redefine beauty ourselves. Beauty is not about what we wear, it's about what we do... how we serve... how we lift. Because in the end, isn't that what matters?
What I'm wearing
My favorite outfit I get to wear on Sunday afternoons. Its is my son's gray sweats, my SUU t-shirt, and my fuzzy socks. After church, I love cuddling up with my family on the couch and indulging myself in a nap..
On other days, I decide what to wear while I have a quick shower... on this particular day this is what I pulled out of the closet-
Jeans- (my favorite) Aeropostale -- $25 (on sale)
Top- Cracker Barrel $35 (I splurged- love at first sight)
Scarf- (H&M) - $15
Boots- Just Fab-- shoe club- now that's another story
Hat- My grandmother Ruth's (xoxo Grams!) a touch of history!
